Hemp is proven to be one of the most sustainable crops in the world, given its ability to grow without the need for pesticides, replenish soil quality, and capture carbon emissions from the atmosphere, it’s often referred to as a miracle plant.
Quality
Currently, the industry is lacking a uniform approach to measuring and maintaining quality standards. Most of the hemp currently being imported to the USA is only tested for THC content, but not for purity and contaminants. Left unregulated, this could lead to health threats, unfair competition, and a potentially negative image of the industry as a whole.
HempGlobal believes in reliable testing as the foundation to providing positive value to our customers and contributes to achieving economic and social sustainability. Our network is committed to ongoing testing to ensure high-quality end products in order to protect consumers and ensure no adverse impact on public health.
